Great Lure
Fishing a local resevoir and we were not catching a thing.. barely a nibble. I had just bought a pack of these and figured I'd give them a shot.. they don't look like much but I figured what the hell. First cast I pulled in a fish.. next cast another. Caught a few large mouth bass, my buddy borrowed one and pulled in a very large bass so basically I'm on here buying more of them to have in my tackle box.

Excellent Lures
These lures come in a three pack, and the number represents the length in inches (3" in this case). Solidly constructed with a sharp hook, the lure also has good coloring and a realistic swim pattern as it is reeled in. Have to watch for shallow areas, where the lures can become fairly easily snagged and are sometimes difficult to retrieve. I lost one in a smaller size to an underwater obstruction. While I haven't used this specific size for fishing yet, as I haven't been able to get out to an area appropriate for this size lure, the smaller one landed me a good size bass easily; although, the reel was straining to bring the bass in. Better than many lures I've purchased in the past, and definitely well worth the money.

great lure
I have only been bass fishing for a few weeks. This lure has been great, the first time I use it I landed 7 bass in 7 cast. I just casted it as far as I could in to the river let it sink and bounced it back to shore. See my videos in youtube, my channel is Tlaza1317.

Storm Baits

A worse scenario is the one where you leave your target, drive to a bait storm that falls apart, only to have a storm form where you were that ends up producing. Rode out storm as tornado rain wrapped night tornado passed to our south with large hail and tree debris falling around. Radar showing us in the core, desperately trying to catch up. We eventually gave up the pursuit once the tornado warning was dropped and the storm lost visual appearance on radar. Got stuck in traffic during core punch during attempt to get ahead of storm while it was producing a torando in Norman. We were parked near Enid along a visible boundary on radar/satellite hoping a storm could initiate there and use this boundary to its advantage. We made good time catching up to the storm and suddenly it went tornado warned. Waited for struggling storms to get going before bailing on initial target for supercell heading for Norman. Unfortunately the storm was heading right into the OKC metro, and now the issue became traffic. Meanwhile storms began to fire west of Oklahoma City and we were getting close to that critical point of no return moment I hate in chasing. One particular storm heading right into the OKC metro caught my attention, and that was the target. The moment where if you don’t leave NOW you won’t be able to catch the storms to your south but if you stay where you are you will bust.

Storm Lake (including Little Storm Lake). Yellow Bass – Good: Many yellow bass are being caught try looking for rocks and wood and use small baits. Largemouth Bass – Slow: A few largemouth bass have moved in to pre-spawn areas around the lake. Bullhead – Fair: A few bullheads have are being caught off the north grade and templar park as well as a few other places around the lake. A few smallmouth bass along with white bass may be caught on rock piles in various parts of the lake. Both largemouth and smallmouth bass may be caught near docks and there outskirts a few white bass and northern pike may be picked up at the same time. As the deepest lake in the chain, its water is not warming up as fast as the other lakes but is still ahead of normal. Fishing has been pretty slow at Storm Lake.

Well, they are blooming, and the snook are eating up a storm. Inshore fishing for snook has been very good this past week, and along with the snook, we are seeing some really nice trout mixed in and willing to go after a bait.
