Exceeded Expectations
First day out with the motor on the Catawba we were trying to dock our canoe. The alarms sounded on the dam and in no time the water was rushing steadily. My wife and I were paddeling with everything we had. We moved backwards more than foward. I dropped the motor in the water, thinking that between paddeling and this we could make it to the boat ramp. We both stopped rowing and this little trolling motor carried us to the dock without effort. This has really exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a kayak or canoe motor. Awesome product at half the price of Bass Pro Shops.

Awesome motor!
I'm using this motor along with the Intex Excursion 5 inflatable boat.It powered us around two different lakes over the Memorial Day weekend without issue.The motor draws 30 Amps at full throttle, Minn Kota recommends minimum of 105Ah marine battery while using this motor. I got the battery from WalMart for $69For a complete breakdown of power draw, contact Minn Kota tech support and they can give the amperage at each speed.Nothing more to write, no complaints and an awesome price! You won't regret this purchase!

Minn Kota Motor
Great Product. Got it overnight with amazon prime, received on time and early in the morning. Def worth the money and was easy to hook up and also control. It was more then expected was out with 2 hours with no problem. Does its job and thats pretty much all there is to it, no need to right anything else. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a motor from beginners to professionals.

Well made, does what it should
One thing I like about this mount, you don't need any tools to put it on the boat. It uses bolts with sturdy thumb type screws and your done. Also, can't go wrong with good solid marine plywood. In the end, its a motor mount and it does what it is designed to do for the intex boats. Holds that little Minn Kota Endura 30 really good. The mount can accept a 3.5hp but on the Excursion boats you can only put up to a 1.5hp or up to 18 lbs motor weight. If you want to go to a 3.5 you will need to get a Sea Hawk II or Mariner boat.

Trolling Motor Power Center
I'm very pleased with this box. It's not weak or flimsy and has molded in lift handles on each end. Its inside dimensions are 13"L X 7"W X 9"H. The vented cover has access for cables on either end and has a pretty sturdy handle attached that will tip down and lay flat and includes a steel backing plate inside for reinforcement and strength. Inside the cover is a plastic plate covering the internal wiring but can be easily accessed by removing two small screws in the cover. Underneath is the trolling motor terminal wiring, the circuit breakers, and the 12 AWG wiring for the accessory terminals. On top of the cover the battery charge indicator light illuminates when you press the test button. Instructions are also printed on the cover. The 10 AMP circuit breaker is wired to both cigarette lighter style accessory terminals, one on each end, and the 60 AMP circuit breaker is wired for the trolling motor accessory terminals. Great battery holder for boats without built in battery tray
Purchased this battery holder for my 14' Jon boat. I have a 55 MinnKota trolling motor and a fish finder which hook up easily with this holder. You get every thing you need with 2 circuit breakers one for your trolling motor and one for accessories that plug into the 2 cigarette lighter plugs. I had to make a power cable for my portable fish finder, so it could be plugged in. Test button on top tells you how much charge you have left in your battery. Sturdy case that makes it easier to carry a 50lb deep cycle battery.I highly reccomend for any need where you are using a heavy duty battery that you will be moving from place to place. I will also be using this to power my 3000lb utility winch. For 110 volt power I hook up my inverter to this power center.

Great product
Very well designed. Fits group size 24 and 27 batteries. Keeps the battery dry with a sturdy plastic box and you safe with a built-in circuit breaker. There's a 12-volt accessory jack built in along with two manual reset circuit breakers, a 15-amp for acccessory plugs and a 60-amp for the trolling motor itself. The screw down's on the front work great, but you need to remove them to recharge the battery with a clamp-type charger, but that's less hassle than removing the battery from the case to recharge. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great fishfinder for the price!
I don't have the cash or space to store a boat, but there are plenty of rentals around here. When I saw the "Fishin' Buddy" I was really happy. This was exactly what I was looking for.I was afraid that such an inexpensive product would underperform. I was not disappointed! The screen shows great detail, (on the 110) and when fish were marked, many times I got a bite!I was afraid of going cheap on the 110. I love it! After using it twice this year so far, I couldn't imagine fishing without it!

Great portable unit
I have used the 120 model on 8 to 10 all day fishing trips so far and have been very happy with it. The setup and operation is simple enough for anyone to figure out, but also has enough different settings and ranges to make it useful just about anywhere. The unit runs on 6 AA batteries and I get about three 10 hour days one one set. Carry an extra set with you because when they die you only get about 1 minutes notice. I have been using mine from a kayak trout fishing in Colorado and the portability is great. The side finder is a great feature and one that I find myself constantly using but, the narrow view(all models are the same)is why it gets a 4 star rating instead of 5. Overall this is a great fishfinder for a portable unit, and I would highly recommend it if you do not have the option for a permanant mount and a 12 volt system.

Super easy to use, just turn on. Unit picks out individual fish with its depth and size. Shows bottom structure in detail. Light weight, easy to transport. LCD display fairly clear in the bright sun. Could be easier to tilt up for moving across lake. Over all, functions well for the price.

Have one installed replaced two house batteries on my boat
These batteries are the best on the market. I like that they are maintenance free, especially the ones that are not easily accessible on my boat. I love Amazon because one battery was delivered dropped by the shipper, box broke. Amazon quickly sent me out another one. I just replaced the two batteries I ordered this past weekend. All worked just fine and easily cranked over my twin Honda 4 Stroke 130s. The sea trial will begin in a few weeks and if all looks good electronically, I will be confident to venture out 25 miles into the Gulf and not worry if my batteries will live or die out there. These batteries replaced my old West Marine Dual Purpose 12 volt batteries. The strength of these are twice as much as my old batteries. This gives me twice as much power and time when out there running stereo FF and GPS etc.I would highly recommend ordering these Optima Batteries especially for rough outdoor use.

This battery is expensive compared to what you can find locally. However, it has performed great so far and I expect it to last a long long time. They claim that optima batteries can be charged and discharged 3 times more than standard batteries, so that is why I spent the extra money.

Great motor that will not disappoint
Rather than settle for the 30 pounds of thrust model, I sprang for the 40, and am so glad I did. We initially purchased this for the Seahawk II inflatable, but the lake authority did not allow inflatables on the lake! So, we ended up renting a row boat, and installing our motor on it. This motor allowed us to putter all over the lake for a good hour and a half, and battled the strong wind and current just fine. It's extremely quiet, and works very, very well. Solid construction. Easily adjusted for depth, great quick release latch to tilt the motor up. It's just a great product. Extremely pleased with this purchase. Five gears and easy grip handle. My five year old was able to control this motor just fine, and had a blast puttering around the lake. We even hit some deep weed beds, but the motor chewed through those without trouble, and we reversed right out of that mess. It's fairly light to carry too, so trudging it down to the shore or dock is no problem. You won't regret getting...
